Open Day is an occasion for all the family, with activities, displays and demonstrations about all aspects of the School. Whilst principally for prospective parents and their sons, many current parents also attend, as well as all the boys and staff. The day starts at 9.30am and finishes at 12.30pm, with the Head's address at 10.00am repeated at 11.00am. Visitors are welcome to arrive at any time during the course of the morning. Please refer to the outline of Open Day events (for 2011 as a guide).
If you are unable to come to Open Day there are many other opportunities to visit Abingdon.
St Helen and St Katharine Open Day will be held on the same date, so a visit to both schools is possible.
Abingdon Prep also has regular Open Mornings.
Parking
Parking at the School on the Open Day may be limited depending upon arrival timing and, therefore, for those familiar with Abingdon it may be helpful for you to use the Charter multi-storey car park, a three minute walk away. Details to this and the other public car parks in Abingdon are available on the council web site. Please do not park along Park Road or Park Crescent as clamping is in operation.
