Term Calendar and Key Dates

As you will be aware the School is not printing a hard-copy calendar so parents should refer to the online calendar which is kept regularly up to date.  Any amendments to Summer Term 2018 events made after today will be indicated clearly.  Parents may wish to consult the online calendar and the term dates page now to remind themselves of the beginnings and ends of terms and half-terms.

Start of Next Term

Boarders return on the evening of Monday 23 April. Term begins for all Tuesday 24 April, with registration and tutor time at 8.35am, and the normal Tuesday Week A timetable starting period 1.  Boys should bring their kit for the sport they expect to do. The next Weekly Mailing will be sent out on Friday 27 April 2018.

Music

A Non-Residential Orchestral Course – Monday 23 to Friday 27 July 2018.  Parents of musicians in the Middle School are warmly invited to consider a week's music course for their sons here at Abingdon in the third week of the Summer Holiday. The target age range is up to 15/16 and grades 3 to 6.  The course will be directed by Michael Stinton, Director of Music, and his team. Abingdon School Physio Fees Changing 

As of Thursday 1 March 2018 the in-house physiotherapy service, provided by Tom Jacobs (Chartered Physiotherapist), will be updating its fees, which haven't changed since 2016. The service is normally billed for separately to school fees as Tom is an external consultant who visits the school on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. The new rates are below:

  • Initial appointment £54
  • Follow up appointment £46
