Congratulations to David Bunn who has been selected for the British M18 Orienteering Junior Talent Squad. David spent much of this summer competing in orienteering events in Finland and Scotland. Competitors have to run through very varied terrain under timed conditions. They have a map and have to check in electronically at various check points. It is up to the competitor to work out the fastest route from point to point, taking into account things like the steepness of the hills and other natural landmarks. David's races are usually around 7km long.
