Brothers Nicholas and Christopher Skelton enjoyed considerable success over the summer at the Summer National Galas.
Third year pupil Christopher qualified for the Scottish Nationals Summer Meet in Aberdeen for the first time, competing in 5 events. He was just squeezed out of the medals in the 50 Freestyle in a time of 28.23; but finished off the Meet winning bronze in the 50 Fly, in a time of 30.62
Fifth year Nicholas again enjoyed great success at the British Summer Nationals in Sheffield Ponds Forge, winning bronze in the 50 backstroke and 200 IM; and gold in the 100 back, before retaining his 200 backstroke title, all with personal best times.
Both boys will be looking to continue this run of form as the Abingdon School squad looks to qualify for the ESSA National Finals in mid September.
