Congratulations go to the following pupils who were selected and competed for the Vale at the County Championships.
D. Burger: 300m – 39.2s
J. Connelly: 200m – 24.8s, 100m – 11.9s
R. Miell-Ingram: 1500m – 4mins 39s
A. Moss: 200m – 22.9s, 100m – 11.4s
J. Mensah: Shot Put – 10m 50cm
The Championship combines the four Oxford districts (North, South, City and Vale), bringing together the best athletes in the county to compete for the county title and the chance to represent Oxfordshire on a national level.
The boys performed superbly taking a clean sweep of victories in their track events. Joshua Mensah finished 3rd in the Shot Put, a year young, showing great potential in this event.
