WEEKLY MAILING

Message from the Head

Dear Parents

This has been a significant week for our schools following the announcement of our decision to move to co-education.

As mentioned in my email to you on Monday, we are interested in hearing your views and comments on our plans.  I hope you will be able to join me, our Chair of Governors, Professor Mike Stevens and other senior colleagues, at one of the two webinars we are hosting next week.  These are being held at 6.15pm (UK time) on Monday 20 May; and 11am (UK time) on Tuesday 21 May.  Details on how to join these can be found in my email from Monday.  I hope too that the Q&A sheet has helped answer some of the more immediate questions you may have had in the meantime.

Should you wish to submit any questions in advance of the webinar, we ask you do so no later than this coming Sunday 19 May via this google form.

The move to co-education marks an exciting new chapter in the history of the School and one which I firmly believe will benefit current and future Abingdonians as we prepare them for life beyond school.

Best wishes, Mike Windsor
