Closure of Bath Street

We have been informed by Oxfordshire County Council that, because of gas replacement work, Bath Street will be closed to traffic from Monday 19 March, between Stratton Way and Faringdon Road.  Works are anticipated to take until Thursday 22 March to complete.  Exemptions include those premises only accessible from Bath Street (Austin House car park).  Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed by OCC.  The alternative route is  Ock Street – Spring Road – Faringdon Road – Wootton Road – and vice-versa.  At times this will slow traffic down on various roads in Abingdon.
