On Sunday our U13, U14, and U16 rugby sevens teams were in action. Our U13 VII took part in the prestigious Berkhamsted School Sevens Festival. A massive festival with 124 schools competing.

The U13 team has made huge progress in the last few weeks and been a pleasure to coach. The boys played superbly well against some top schools achieving some notable performances.

U13 Results:
Lost 15-10 v Solihull School
Lost 15-5 v St Benedict’s School
Won 15-10 v Ysgol Gyfun Bro Morgannwg
Won 25-10 v St Cyres School
Lost 25-5 v Chesham Grammar School

Our U14 and U16 VIIs travelled to the Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Barnet to take part in a long running sevens tournament with 32 top teams from the south of England competing in each age group tournament.

Our U14 VII lost their three group matches against some very strong opposition, but played superbly well in every game. Their attitude was spot on, and their improvement and game understanding has developed so much over the past term. Boys to be very proud of.

U14 VII Results:
Lost 19-14 v Reigate Grammar
Lost 24-14 v Dulwich College
Lost 33-10 v Sutton Valence School

Our U16 VII were runners up in the groups after their three matches. Again, the approach to the games was full on and exciting to watch. The team went through into the Plate competition beating Warwick School in the Quarter Final, but just losing out to Berkhamsted School in the Plate Semi-final.

A wonderful day and the teams now look forward to Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens on Tuesday 20 March to finish their season.
