History at Abingdon Prep School is designed to be dynamic, interactive, and deeply relevant. Taught up to Year 5 in form groups and from Years 6 to 8 by subject specialists, we empower our pupils to move beyond facts, using a range of sophisticated resources to master the skills of analysis, independent enquiry, and critical thinking. We encourage pupils to examine things objectively and to question evidence whether past or present.
