The Abingdon Prep School Parents’ Association, known as the JPA, is a group set up to promote social activities for members of the school. These can be arranged both in school and outside and will involve all three key interlinking elements of the school community – pupils, parents and staff.
Apart from providing an excellent conduit for allowing the different sections of the school to get to know each other and for parents and pupils of different year groups to mingle, the association’s activities also extend to fundraising for the school.
The Association is run by a committee consisting of: a chair, treasurer, and two representatives from each class. The committee is elected at the beginning of the academic year in the Association’s Annual General meeting. Any parent can volunteer their services.
