April 2026 School Inspection Report
In April 2026, the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) carried out a School Inspection at Abingdon Preparatory School.
The School Inspection reports on standards relating to: leadership and management, and governance; quality of education, training and recreation; pupils’ physical and mental health and emotional wellbeing; pupils’ social and economic education and contribution to society; and safeguarding. Judgments within the report are given either as ‘met’ or as ‘not met’.
We are delighted to report that standards at Abingdon Preparatory School were met in all five categories. In addition, Abingdon Preparatory School received a Significant Strength for its “exceptionally well-conceived extra-curricular programme”.
