Recent weeks have seen the Lower School tutor groups facing each other across the chessboard in the annual tournament. There were some very close matches but 2C and 1F proved victorious in the first round, thereby becoming their year group champions. They then played each other in the Grand Final – victory went to 1F by 6 wins to 3.
