Badminton is one of a great many sports which thrive at Abingdon. Reunions for OA badminton players are held at School from time to time and the winter 2009 reunion took place on Monday 21 December in the main hall in the new Sports Centre from 2.00 - 4.30 pm.
These reunions take place regularly so please keep an eye on the website for news of the next one. No formal 'booking' is required for these reunions. OAs are given the opportunity to play against one another and some current pupils, and after the match there is an informal chance for players to socialise.
Any OA interested in taking part in OA badminton events should make contact either with the OA Office or with Ian Macdonald, who is still helping to co-ordinate badminton at Abingdon even from his retirement!
