Abingdon School’s four Young Enterprise teams competed in the South Oxfordshire regional final on Monday 26 March. Against determined opposition all teams had great success. XYLO, one of the Abingdon School teams, was the overall winner of the competition.
Congratulations to the team; Rory Bishop, Sam Penrose, James Gibson, Sam Miles, Nicholas Raptakis, Matthew Viner, George Nott and Jake Wallis. The team also won best trade stand during the evening. These awards are added to another five which have been won during the year’s trading.
Abingdon team Zero Degrees was placed third and is likely to qualify for the area final. Woodworx also won an award for best business plan and Max Williams was acknowledged for the best Personal Contribution.
Next is the Area final at the King’s Centre in Oxford on 30 April.
