The cross country squad travelled to Wellington College for their annual relay competition. Set amongst the vast grounds and beautiful backdrop of the college, a technical but fast 2km course welcomed the athletes.
It was fantastic to include six runners making not only their Abingdon cross country debut, but to also have some competing in their first ever race!
The junior and inter squads ran tremendously well to both finish in 3rd place only a few seconds behind second. Special mention must go to P.Fleming who won the fastest lap time in the junior boys race by nearly 30 seconds! The inter team also ran well to finish in 5th place.
