French exchange to Aix en Provence

There are 8 places remaining on the French exchange to Aix en Provence, which is open to pupils in the 4th year upwards. The French party will be in Abingdon from Sunday 8 to Sunday 15 March 2015 and we will go to Aix in the first week of the Easter holidays from Friday 27 March to Friday 3 April 2015. If your son is interested or if you would be willing to host a French student for the week of their stay, please contact Jane Mansfield.

Junior Trip to Croatia

Unfortunately, after many discussions, the Easter Junior Tennis Trip to Croatia has had to be cancelled, due to only three courts being available there. A plan for a more local, intensive pre-season event is in gestation.

Sickness & Diahorroea

The Health Centre would like to remind parents that any boy having episodes of vomiting or diahorroea should be kept off school until 48 hours after the last episode has occurred. We currently have a number of boys experiencing such symptoms and are keen to contain this to avoid a spread throughout the school. We cannot stress enough the importance of good hygiene and hand washing as the best method of avoiding the spread of infection of any kind. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Food Menu for the coming week

At School Council's request I am including an item about next week's food menu. Next week will be week 2 of the menus.
