Les Miserables

five minute clip of the recent school production of Les Miserables is on the website.

Annual Chamber Music Evening – Wednesday 25 February, CMR at 6.00pm. 

Parents are reminded about this exciting annual showcase of the School's chamber music. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Rugby Tour Dinner – open to all year groups and families

The main Rugby Tour fundraiser for the tour to Australia and new Zealand in August 2015 – is the Tour Dinner at Balliol College, Oxford University on Saturday 23 May. The guest speaker is ex-All Black captain and ex-Oxford Blue Anton Oliver. The event is aimed at raising funds for the tour, whilst supporting two charities; Blue Skye Thinking and the Starship Foundation in Auckland that we shall be visiting. Further details to follow after half term, but if anyone is interested in booking tickets please email [email protected].

Parents of Exam Candidates

This week personal timetable packs have gone out to all exam candidates via their tutors. Please ask your son to show you the pack. Included with the timetable and information is an exam fees sheet which the boys have been asked to pass this to you. It is for reference only, and indicates how much will be added to your bill at Easter.

Coach park: car parking and drop-off

For health and safety reasons, cars should, please, stay out of the coach park during morning and afternoon drop-off and collection times, ie 8.00 – 9.00am  and 4.00 – 5.30pm.

Half Term Reports

Reports for all year groups will be published to the parent portal by tomorrow morning (Saturday 14th).  5th year have long subject reports whilst all other years have just subject grades, with long reports coming at the end of term.  Years 3, 4, L6 and U6 do not have housemaster reports this session, but there is a tutor report.  

For the attention of Second Year Parents – Subject preferences for Third Year due Friday 13 March

Mr Oliver Lomax has just sent a letter and also emailed all Second Year parents regarding Third Year subject preferences for their sons. The letter outlines the preference process and containing information about their son's languages. The email contains links to relevant curriculum documents and an electronic form to record the preferences. Completion of the electronic form is due on Friday 13 March, ten days after the Second Year Parents' Evening on Tuesday 3 March. If any parent does not receive the email or the letter please email Mr Lomax ([email protected]) as soon as possible.

For the attention of Third Year Parents – GCSE subject preferences due Friday 6 March

Mr Oliver Lomax has emailed all Third Year parents regarding GCSE subject preferences for their sons. This email contains links to relevant curriculum documents and an electronic form to record the preferences. Completion of the electronic form is due on Friday 6 March, eight days after the Third Year Parents' Evening on Thursday 26 February. If any parent has not received this email please email Mr Lomax ([email protected]) as soon as possible.
