Today, Abingdon School students, staff and parents came together to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice during the First and Second World Wars and in subsequent conflicts. In a ceremony in the Amey Theatre, our two student Heads of School read out the names of the Old Abingdonians who died and we took time for prayer and reflection. We then gathered outside to observe the Combined Cadet Force parade, before observing a two minute silence at 11am and placing a wreath on the war memorial situated in our Chapel.
