That's Oxfordshire TV reporter Katie Chambers visited the ASP Lab recently to meet pupils involved in the CERN@School project, which is one of the activities on offer at the new, Wednesday afternoon Science Factor research club. Abingdon Science Partnership has become an official partner with the Institute for Research in Schools, giving access to particle detectors and data sets from CERN and other large research organisations. The TV interview was a particularly useful experience for L6 pupil Patrick McCubbin who is developing skills in science journalism through his leadership of the Abingdon Hub of the Young Scientists Journal, another ASP partner organisation.
