Last summer’s Abingdon U15 A tennis players were highly successful and, as a result, made it through to the regional knockout stages of the LTA competition. They traveled to Warwick School on Friday, slightly weary having done the sponsored walk the day before, for a hotly contested match. Despite having some nerves in the final shootout the students won 13-11 and are through to the Division One Regional Finals in Nottingham. Great credit needs to go to Max, Monty, Ben, Hayato and Archie as the team ethic was superb. We hope to progress even further, and aim to get to the national finals just before Christmas.
