The St Albans race is always one of the highlights on the cross-country calendar. Attracting a high calibre of cross-country schools; it is a good marker to see how well early season training has gone. Abingdon travelled with a team of 10 runners, comprising of 6th formers down to 3rd years.

Following a steady start, the pace was ramped up by the senior boys from the Judd and the field began to thin out. The Abingdon team held their own and finished in 2nd place, with many of the junior boys finishing high up the rankings.
