The Abingdon Science Partnership was delighted to welcome fifty Year 4 pupils from St Swithun’s, Kennington, for the very first time!
Over two sessions in our Partnership Lab, the children heated and cooled water to learn all about evaporation and condensation in our ‘Solids, Liquids and Gases’ workshop. They also learned how to safely use a Bunsen Burner and how to record their observations scientifically in a table.
Mini Patel, who teaches at St Swithun’s, said: “I just wanted to thank you for the sessions, not only were the children buzzing with excitement but the teachers were too!”
We can’t wait to see the St Swithun’s pupils again in March when they return for another workshop.
