The Rt Hon Sir Vince Cable talks about his new book, Money and Power, at Abingdon School on Monday 20 September 2021.

Politician, author and lecturer, Vince Cable was leader of the Liberal Democrats for two years from July 2017 to 2019. He was the Member of Parliament for Twickenham from 1997 to 2015 and from 2017 to 2019. He also served in the Cabinet as Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills from 2010 to 2015. He is a Professor in Practice at the School of Public Policy at the London School of Economics.

The talk is open to students at Abingdon School and other schools in the community. It will be particularly useful to students studying A level Economics, Business Studies and Politics or those students thinking of studying these subjects at university. The talk will be accessible via Zoom, with the opportunity to submit questions during the talk and beforehand. To be sent details to access the webinar, please use the email below.
