We were delighted to host our Senior Rugby Tour Dinner last weekend – a truly special evening in support of this summer’s eagerly anticipated tour to South Africa, involving 56 pupils.

The event was a tremendous success, raising substantial funds through a lively raffle, silent auction, and an exciting live auction. All proceeds will go towards supporting the tour and our chosen charity, The Pebbles Project. This remarkable organisation provides essential education, healthcare, nutrition, and social services to children living in South Africa’s farming communities. We are proud to play a small part in their life-changing work.

Our sincere thanks go to everyone who attended and contributed so generously. Your support will make a lasting difference. We are especially grateful to John Bentley, former British & Irish Lion, who captivated the audience as our guest speaker with an inspiring and humorous address.

It was a fantastic evening celebrating rugby, friendship, and the power of opportunity.

We now look forward to our final fundraising event of the year – the much-loved Touch Rugby Tournament on Friday 20 June at Waste Court, which promises to be another brilliant community occasion.
