This year's Second Year Adventure Trip saw 30 boys travel to Plas Pencelli Outdoor Education Centre in the Brecon Beacons. Here, under the expert guidance of the centre's instructors, they enjoyed five days of outdoor activity during which they went canoeing, caving and climbing, and climbed Pen y Fan, the highest point in southern Britain.

Weather conditions up the mountain were somewhat changeable with two groups making the ascent in thick fog and one doing it the next day in bright sunshine! On the final morning the boys really got to push themselves (and get very wet!) on a gorge walk.
