Congratulations to fifth year student George Rich who was selected by the panel of judges as winner for the 16-18 year old category in the Ruskin 200 Art Competition at Oxford's Museum of Natural History.
The Museum celebrated 200 years since the birth of John Ruskin by holding the art competition to share contemporary artistic views of the architecture and collections. Ruskin was one of the leading art critics of the 19th century and a talented artist, who was influential in the design and decoration of the Museum’s building.
George's piece is included in a summer display at the Museum as well as featured online on the museum’s Ruskin 200 Competition webpage.
