Rugby Week 4

5 October 2018

Following the successful Open Morning at school we played Berkhamsted in a block fixture from U14 upwards.

Our U14s had five close matches with an E team being put out for the first time this season and over 80 boys representing the School. The B and C team had wonderful matches and our As had a strong win.

The U15s had a tough day against Berkhamsted’s strongest year group, but pulled together and showed real team spirit in the matches to ensure that, although the result was not on our side, the character was.

Our U16s moved forward again as a year group with the B & C teams doing really well against a big rugby school. The A team has improved tremendously and launched another performance to build on through the season, winning without conceding.

Our seniors performed really well with our 2nds and 3rds winning close matches. The 1st XV put in the performance of the season only to lose the match in the dying moments against a much fancied Berkhamsted team.

A great block fixture at all levels.
