The half term begun brightly for the school’s Rugby Sevens programme, with our U12, U14 and 1st VII squads all taking part in a number of competitive events.

At the weekend, the U12s played in a well-balanced series of matches against Magdalen College School, gaining valuable experience of the sevens format and showing great effort and teamwork throughout.

Our U14s began their tournament programme at the 50th Queen Elizabeth School, Barnet Rugby Sevens Tournament. Competing in such a well-established event provided an excellent first tournament experience for the squad as they continued to develop across the day.

The 1st VII have also had a busy and encouraging start to the half term. They competed at the Collegiate Sevens, finishing as Plate Runners-Up, before taking part in the Middlesex Invitational Sevens as part of their preparation for the remainder of the term. Most recently, the side delivered an outstanding performance to finish as runners-up at the inaugural Activate Oxford Sevens.

Next week the 1st VII will compete in the Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens in the final week of term, where our U13, U14, U16 and 1st VII squads will all take part.
