Abingdon student wins Rugby Scholarship with Brunel University
Many congratulations to Upper Sixth student, Ollie who, after winning the 2023 1st XV Rugby Players’ Player of the Season award, recently clinched a prestigious scholarship contract with Ealing Trailfinders Rugby and Brunel University.
The collaboration between Ealing Trailfinders Rugby and Brunel University London will offer Ollie the rare opportunity to pursue academia alongside a high-performance environment and pathway into professional rugby.
This accomplishment is a testament both to Ollie’s progress as a dedicated member of this season’s 1st team as well as the incredible support he has received at Abingdon, where we are committed to nurturing sporting excellence alongside academic endeavours.
Ollie says: “Abingdon School has provided an exceptional platform for both academic and athletic development and I am grateful for the mentorship and coaching that have guided me to this pivotal moment in my rugby career.”
