The Rugby Club had a thrilling weekend, with matches happening all day on Saturday. It was impressive to see the Lower School sides take on our Foundation friends, Abingdon Prep School, at U12 and U13. The matches were highly competitive, and it was heartening to see many players in various age groups play their first ever match for Abingdon School.
The afternoon matches shifted to the Middle and Upper School with our annual block fixture versus Radley College. Sixteen matches took place, including the season’s second U16 D XV fixture. The age groups gave remarkable performances that culminated in an entertaining 1st XV match on Big Side in front of a large vocal crowd.
