On Wednesday evening, the volume in the Amey Theatre was turned right up to eleven for the music department’s annual Rock Concert. The production involved student bands from 1st Year right the way through to the Upper 6th performing a vast range of music including The Beatles, Muse, Arctic Monkeys and Rage Against the Machine. There were also a number of original songs written and performed by a number of the bands. All the acts performed with great verve to a near capacity audience and the student comperes ably kept the crowd warm between each item. Congratulations to all the performers and our sincere thanks to the Amey Theatre Technical Team for their superb staging of the concert.
