On Saturday 9 November the intermediate cross-country team braved the heavy rain and frigid temperatures at Sibford School to win the regional round of the ESAA Cross-Country Cup. Johnny James ran superbly well, taking the win in a time of 13:55. Will d’Arcy was next across the line, making it an Abingdon 1, 2, finishing in a time of 14:04. Special mention goes to the two third year runners, Quinn Miell-Ingram and Jacob Charity-Williams, who helped secure the victory for the team. Attention now turns to the National Final, to be held on Saturday 7 December in Derbyshire.

The Juniors were unfortunate not to advance through to the final, finishing in 5th place overall. Special mention must go to Ralph Allen who was the first Abingdon pupil across the finish line.
