The cross country club travelled to Radley College for the annual relay race on a beautiful sunny day, perfect for racing. The Juniors ran well and are beginning to gain experience as they enjoy running as a team. They placed 6th behind a phenomenal Radley College team. Wilf Rice ran the fastest leg in the team, covering the 3.3km in 12:53. The Inters continue to impress and possess impressive strength in depth. Their four leg time of 46:03 would have been good enough for 4th in the Seniors race and a comfortably win in their own age group. All athletes ran well, and there was a breakout performance from Jacob Kind which he will hopefully build on. The Seniors led from start to finish. Johnny James is used to leading, despite not yet fully recovering from illness, but it was a new experience for Freddie Bower and Louis Trotter to run at the front of the field. They each built the lead further and Will d’Arcy brought them home almost a minute ahead of Harrow.
