Lower School boys have been flexing their rhetorical muscles over the last three weeks in the annual inter-tutor group public speaking competition. After some very, very high standard initial rounds, the grand final on the last day of term saw first year champions 1P (Frederick Mellor, Shrish Gupta and Ari Ioannou) take on second year winners 2H (Tom Saunders, Dhruv Lakhani and Harold Lethaby). 1P addressed the issue of racism while 2H considered the advantages of using AI in future space exploration. All the speakers did a great job, but judge Mr Hindley awarded the trophy to 1P by the very narrowest of margins.
