The new team of Science Ambassadors have continued to deliver an excellent series of Primary Science Club activities throughout this term. Favourites among participating primary school children from Marcham, Thomas Reade and Caldecott Primary Schools have been dissecting an eye and an amazing session of pond dipping in the rill outside the Yang Science Centre. Amongst the haul of interesting mini beasts were frog and newt tadpoles, water boatmen, damselfly larvae and leeches. After studying some of the creatures under microscopes they were all returned, unharmed, to their fantastic habitat in the rill.
