Seven teams of students from local primary schools enjoyed a competitively creative day at the Business Challenge, hosted by Olly Deasy last week. They were asked to design and prepare a pitch for a new ice lolly or choc ice. Guided by their upper sixth helpers, students developed marketing maps to spot gaps in the market and then a brand and flavour to suit their target consumers. The winning product was the Bolt, an isotonic ice lolly to be enjoyed after exercise, designed by Marcham Primary School. The panel of judges, headed by Mr Windsor, was very impressed by the professional presentations of all the pupils.
