A group of 20 boarders, led by Mrs McKend and Mr McDonnell, visited Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The boys enjoyed exploring the wealth of naval history on show in the dockyard, followed by a fascinating visit to the Mary Rose museum, where they were able to get up close to Henry VIII's favourite warship. After the museum, the boys then took an enjoyable boat tour of the naval harbour, where they were able to see the newest British warship at close quarters – quite a contrast in technology! This was followed by some fun shopping and lunch time in the Gunwharf Quays area.
