Sixteen lower sixth students attended the Physics in Action event at the Emmanuel Centre in London.

The day was a series of physics lectures from leading researchers covering many different aspects of physics from the Big Bang, to fusion reactors. The boys were able to see how the speakers found themselves in physics research and it showed them how many different avenues physics can take you down, and the doors it can open if you study it at university.

There was also a great talk on exam prep that really enforced how hard work will pay off for the students when focusing on their A-level exams.

A fun, filled, exciting day full of interesting demos and personal experience within the field of physics.
