On Monday, students were invited to a lecture by Dr Sonka Reimers, a Physics teacher at Abingdon, to hear her talk about her PhD research topic of Antiferromagnetic Spintronics. Students from Fourth Year to Upper Sixth learned about the applications of magnetism in data storage and were keen to ask questions during the Q&A session at the end.
