Johan Nerlov in the Upper Sixth has won the prestigious Cambridge University Vellacott History Essay Prize. This is one of the most competitive pre-graduate essay competitions in the country. The standard of entries was high, but the judges said that Johan’s essay stood out for its clarity of argument, stylish prose, level of research, and originality of thought. Johan picked up £75 and was invited to attend the Peterhouse Virtual Open Day.
