This year’s Lower School drama production, ‘Peter Pan – The Lost Boy’ based on the novel by J.M Barrie and adapted for the stage by Mrs Sharman, told the story of the boy who never grew up. Mr Lloyd-White and his team did an incredible job at making the cast fly as well as building a pirate ship, a mermaid’s rock and a poisonous cake. The two evenings were a huge success, with highlights being 15 mermaids in sequinned tails, a talking crocodile on a skateboard, a feisty Latin-American Tink obsessed with Peter and a drunken parrot. Then we had our leads – the infamous Captain Hook dressed in leather and sporting a moustache and of course, Peter – a rapping, dancing, martial-arts expert who is mischievous but ultimately warm hearted.

Mrs Sharman, said of the production: “The show may be as crazy as its characters and its actors but I am very proud of all that has been achieved, with the fantastic support of the Drama Department. It has been a pleasure working with such a keen, imaginative and exuberant cast who fully immersed themselves into the weird and wonderful world that is Neverland.”
