Last Friday saw almost 40 students from Larkmead, John Mason, Fitzharrys, Abingdon School and St Helen’s take part in their first Peer Support Lead Training event via Zoom. It was a fantastic experience for these new Peer Support Leads to learn how to listen to and talk with students who are struggling, an especially important skill to have particularly after what has been happening in the past few months, as well as taking part in a variety of role playing exercises. A special thanks goes to psychotherapist and counsellor Debbie Lee, who was teaching these pupils the vital skills they need to effectively perform their role.
