Over the past two days Abingdon School Football Club had the pleasure of hosting the Oxford United 1st team squad and under 23s squad on their return for pre-season training.
Over a tough two days the players were put through their paces by Head Sport Scientist, Scott Daly, under the guidance of new manager Karl Robinson.
Day two provided a fantastic opportunity for Abingdon’s senior goalkeeper Henry Steinsberg to train alongside the Oxford United goalkeepers, with Head Goalkeeper Coach Wayne Brown. A fantastic opportunity for the 6th form pupil.
We wish them all the best on their pre-season tour of Ireland.
