A group of middle school students took part in the second annual OX14 Chemistry competition. A trio of 3rd years (Lucas, Samuel and Jack) joined teams made up from a mix of partner schools and were tasked with researching and delivering presentations about some unusual chemical elements. All of the teams worked really productively and gave highly informative and interesting presentations.
Congratulations to the team of four Abingdon 4th years (Isaac, James, Harry and Daniel) who came first place against teams from our partner schools in the practical challenge, in which they had to use problem solving to efficiently identify some unknown solutions and answer some tricky tie-breaker questions.
