Last half term, the Cartwright Problem Solving group, who are top mathematicians from the Middle School who meet to work through the hard mentoring problems set by the UKMT (who also make the maths challenges), and generally work together to solve problems, submitted a solution to a live problem on the NRich website. The NRich website is run by the University of Cambridge and produces interesting extension problems in maths. Here is their solution: https://nrich.maths.org/7385/solution. The solution was good enough to be published, and can be viewed online, alongside others from all over the world.
