The Rugby Club has achieved real success over the Lent term with our U15s reaching the National Schools Cup Plate final. Wins in the quarter and semi-final to Brighton College and Exeter School set up Abingdon’s first-ever national final at the StoneX Stadium, Saracens home ground, versus The King’s School, Worcester. Although the team went down 36-12 on the day, they played with passion and commitment. Some wonderful memories were made as well as aspirational seeds sown for the future. A huge thank you to all the staff and pupils for their commitment to the challenge over the term.
