Thursday was the annual Varsity Match at Twickenham. In the past this was the equivalent of an England trial.
Still a very high standard both teams boasted professional players and high quality students.
Our 3rd & 4th year rugby players were able to take the opportunity to go and watch the match. Oxford University beat Cambridge 38-16 in a thrilling game.
Congratulations to the team and to Oxford Head Coach James Wade who is also the Abingdon School Forwards & Skills Coach.
