A class of fifth years worked on a team challenge in their final GCSE Maths lessons this week. They were given limited resources such as paper cups, card and straws and worked in teams to build towers which were judged by Mr Morgan for stability, height and aesthetics. Bonus points were given to teams for descriptions of mathematical principles that they had applied.
