On Saturday the Athletics Club dusted off their spikes and headed to Marlborough to compete in the first fixture of the season. The sun came out for a record breaking event held by Marlborough with a total of 11 schools competing. Impressive early season performances came from the following boys;
Juniors
Vincent Chen: High jump 1st (160cm), Triple jump 2nd (10.44m)
Inters
Alfie Grey: 100m 2nd (12.3s)
Henry Insley: 1500m 2nd (4mins 41s)
Seniors
Alex Moss: 200m 1st (23.3s), Long jump 2nd (5.63m)
Oliver Moody: 800m 3rd (2min 11s)
Calum Steer: 1500m 2nd (4min 24s)
