At the start of the Easter holidays, 40 4th Year students from Abingdon and St Helen and St Katharine took part in our second annual study trip to Lyon. The combination of morning language lessons and homestays with host families allowed students to make great strides with their French. Afternoons were spent taking in the city, from the ancient Roman ruins to the famous Traboules in the old town, to the Olympique Lyonnais football stadium. The students from both schools were a real delight to be with and engaged positively with all of the activities.
